Terms of
Use.
Last updated: 9 October 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to your use of the OrderDeck website, applications, and services. By using OrderDeck, you agree to these Terms. If you use OrderDeck for a restaurant or employer, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf.
What OrderDeck provides
OrderDeck provides tools for restaurant order entry, menu management, kitchen printing, payments recording, staff access, cloud synchronisation, and reporting. Features may vary by app version, plan, device, region, and configuration.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping account credentials and approval PINs confidential, choosing authorised staff, and notifying us if you believe an account has been compromised. You are responsible for the accuracy of restaurant information, prices, tax settings, menus, staff permissions, and order details entered into the service.
Payments and printers
OrderDeck records and helps manage restaurant sales workflows; it does not replace a bank, payment processor, tax adviser, or legal adviser. Card payments may require a separate EFTPOS or payment provider. Printer hardware, network availability, paper, and third-party services are your responsibility.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse OrderDeck, attempt to access another restaurant's data, interfere with the service, reverse engineer the service except where the law permits it, upload malicious content, or use the service in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.
Your content and data
You retain ownership of restaurant content you submit. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, synchronise, back up, and display that content to provide OrderDeck. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to enter staff, customer, menu, image, and other information into the service.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep OrderDeck reliable, including through its offline-first design, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features and will take reasonable steps to communicate material changes. Local device operation can continue during some outages, but cloud sync and remote administration require connectivity.
Intellectual property
OrderDeck, including its software, branding, design, and documentation, belongs to us or our licensors. These Terms give you permission to use the service; they do not transfer ownership.
Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OrderDeck is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate configuration, unauthorised access, payment providers, printer or network failures, or data entered by users. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
Ending use
You may stop using OrderDeck at any time. We may suspend or end access where needed for security, legal compliance, non-payment, or serious breach of these Terms. On request, we will explain available data export or deletion options.
